In the last year of seminary, students enroll in the Integrative Seminar (SM 501) course. In this class students demonstrate their ability to integrate their knowledge of the theological disciplines with their practice and skill in ministry. This small group experience enables students to write a Statement of Faith, which many denominations require for ordination, and to integrate that statement with a Ministry Application Paper, which is designed to  apply the students’ theology to a specific ministry issue. Students share both papers with peers in class and engage in a theological reflection process.
